So it was with a little trepidation that i entered. However, my fears were unfounded. The restaurant, is quietly authentic in its style and ambience.
Sitting with a mug of Breton cider and surveying the decor and clientele, it could happily have been the year 1905.
We were greeted by intelligent and charming young waiter's, who were professional without being polished and weren't at all snooty about my ignorance of the French language.
The food was exquisite with a service that gave dignity to the table.
A very well deserved 5 stars and a recommendation to others to visit and be satiated and charmed.Visited in March 2022
Fantastic establishment with no nonsense food and prices. The crepes were absolutely brilliant and tasteful, the staff is very thoughtful and kind. The restaurant itself is a classic and very charming setting, in the summer you can sit outside underneath the old market roof.

Drove true the village with our motorcycles. Very surprised with the location. Very nice and gentil service. Had a nice salade with goat cheese. There was more than enough choice for different things

Les crêpes der la Galtouère sont tout simplement délicieuses, généreuses et pleines de saveurs. Très bon accueil , ambiance conviviale. On s'y sent bien, on y revient ! A ne pas manquer si vous êtes de passage à Lignières!

You can have lunch or dinner in the summer under the covered market, or in the winter in front of the fireplace (I love it). The decor tells the local story to those who know how to observe while sipping their bowl of cider! We come here for a relaxed and simple evening. La Galtouère is a much-loved local institution where everything is prepared on site. Having eaten there many times and having tried almost the entire menu over the years, I highly recommend it 👍 🙂

Petite crêperie atypique où on se sent comme dans une maison de campagne ! Feu de cheminée, une serveuse charmante et le patron très gentil. Les crêpes sont succulentes et on est servis très rapidement. Quand on est pressés c'est top, on regrette même de ne pas pouvoir rester plus longtemps ! Merci pour cet endroit où je reviendrai lors de mon prochain déplacement sur le secteur ! On se sent bien, et c'est bon !!!
